One of the basic objectives of Stetson Law Day — to provide an opportunity for College of Law alumni to
meet old friends, to make new ones,
and to enjoy a long week end with
their families in a festive, homecoming
atmosphere — has not been overlooked this year.
Returning alumni are urged to bring
their wives or husbands, as the case
may be, their children if any, and a
guest or two if possible.
The Holiday Inn, 4601 - 34th Street,
South (Sunshine Skyway), has been
designated by the Stetson Lawyers
Association as official alumni headquarters. Its facilities include ample
room for everyone, a large pool, a
restaurant, and a comfortable and
spacious lounge.
An informal get-together of all
alumni and their guests will be sponsored by the Stetson Lawyers Association in the Holiday Room of the
Holiday Inn from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.,
Friday, November 17.
On the College of Law campus,
numerous "breaks" throughout the
seminar sessions on Friday and Saturday will give opportunity for a
leisurely stroll of the grounds and a
first-hand look at the developments
that have taken place since the law
school was relocated in St. Petersburg
eight years ago.
