OMGUS Military Tribunal Case One, OMT-I-D-133. Palace of Justice, Nurnberg, Germany. Photograph narrative: Paul Rostock, surgical advisor to the army and defendant in the trial of 23 German doctors accused of criminal medical experiments performed on concentration camp inmates without their consent, makes his final plea of innocence to the tribunal. He said he had nothing to add to the statement of his defense counsel which he felt had entirely proved his innocence. Photo taken July 19, 1947.
