Description
OMGUS Military Tribunal Case One, OMT-I-D-140. Palace of Justice, Nurnberg, Germany. Photograph narrative: Karl Gensken, Chief of the Medical Department of the waffen SS and defendant in the war crimes trial of 23 doctors and scientists accused of participation in concentration camp medical experiments, made his final plea of innocence to Tribunal No. 1 July 19, 1947. Genzken said he felt the evidence in the case showed that he did not participate in the experiments charged in the indictment.
