Unites States 1862 Postage Currency, Fifty Cents. Worn, fragile condition; torn in two pieces. Found folded inside Bible used by James Frederick Allen while at Andersonville Prison during the American Civil War between pages 128-129. See Regar 101, Regar 269, and Regar 271.
