Description
Resolution by the Hat Trade Memorial Fund immediately after the death of Mr. Stetson on February 18, 1906. This committee met in New York on the February 20, 1906 to adopt this resolution. The resolution is bound in a black leather portfolio and was originally wrapped in beige tissue paper with the handwritten name and mailing address of Roger W. Allen at 'The Hatter', who at the time was president of the hat trade publishing company. A letter dated March 13, 1953 from Michael F. Lynch of the 'Hat Life' hat industry publication verifies the committee members listed on page 6 of the resolution.
