Description
Black lace parasol believed to have belonged to John B. Stetson's wife Elizabeth. Elizabeth was in mourning three times, including after the death of her middle son Benjamin in 1891, after the death of Mr. Stetson in 1906, and again after the death of her second husband, The Count of Santa Eulalia, in 1917. Handle of the parasol appears to be made of carved ebony.
