Electjon. #4 lists were presented yesterday by factions to the
Chief Election Committee. In view of the fact that local lists will
appear in addition to factions which will run in several districts .
the split of votes will be vexy pronounced during the forthcoming
election. The lists presented until yesterday can be divided into
6 groups$
1. parties cooperating with the Government : 1 - S?. SO Western
Catholic Union. (Landowners^business man and Intel! igentisa with
conservative tendencies from Poznania and Pomeralia) nr. - 1 Independent
Governmental Bloc fit will run all over Poland with the exception of
Poznania and Pomeralia) - mixture of radical and conservative people
having a sympathy for the Government. Hr.21 - Radical wing of the
national Labour, Monarchsist having l.li could be also added to this
group.
2. anti-Governmental group of the Conservative camp 24 - the Endeks
plus half of the Stronski party,25 -the Christian Democrats with
Piast,and also to a certain degree the Wational Labour 0* 7,
3. Radical parties pretending to be anti-Governmental : 2 - Socialists,,
3- Mancipation.lO-peasant party,12- Priest Okon party,14- Stapinskis
group^.
4. Minorities: 18-Bloc, 17-GaIician Sionists, 33-0rthodox, 5 and 27
two lists of the Poale-Sion, 31 - Democratic sionists, 4 - Bund, 6-
Ukraianian nationalists, 19 and 29 - Russians.
5.Communists ; 13 - Communists, Semi-Com,iunists have 16 and 34. Ukrainian
Monnunists have 8 and 26, 32 se ms also communists,same for the Independent
Peasants having 23.
Soviets The P0lish Government sends today to Moscow Messrs.Holowko of
the foreign Office and Sokolo?/ski of the Ministry of Comnerce and Industry
for commencing commercial negotiations with Russia.

ermany On the first of February expires the term of postponment of
the maximum taxes to be introduced for good prevening from countries
with whom Poland has no commercial relations. In view of the negotiations
with Germany which develop normally,it is proposed to change the
decision once again establishing these tariffs only for countries
with whom Poland has nor treaties neither treaty negotiations.
