Diet and Senate . Col. Prystor of the Inspectoriat called on the
Marshal of the Diet which is understood to be a conference for establishing the date of the recess of the Houses. Persistant rumours insist that

the Diet v^ill meet once early next week to ratify several conventions,
Mr.Wysocki.the new vice-minister of Foreign Affairs,called on both
speakers yesterday. The Senate had so many speakers that the debates
will be continued today/ The minorities of the Senate try to use this
opaortunity to express all their grienvances against the Government. The
speech of Mrs. Hyszynska.a Socialist senator,was also interesting - she
announced that the Socialists are impatient and vrould like to seise the
power vexy promptly, ■

state that Marshal Pilsudski feels much better and that the present
sudden change concerning the budget is a typical action of Pilsudski while
in good health. The Marshal is interested in passing fundamental changes
in the Cosntitution - therefore he did not want to quarrel with the Diet
on account for the budget • He wanted to sent it home the soonest possible,
prepare in the Summer the proposal of the change to submit it to the Diet
in the Fall. In case of protest - the Marshal would fight the Diet at
that time,

Foreign Affairs Waldemaras did not asnwer as yet to the Polish note
concerning the change of the Lithuanian cosntitution stating that Vilno
in the Capital of Lithuania. Mr.Zaleski will answer the last Soviet Hote
on the H3rd inst. The German press continues to be nervous on account of
the Paris and Bussels speeches of Mr.Zaleski. The press says that Germans
would prefer to wait for the evacuation of the Rhine provinces another
five or ten years provided the latser frontier Is not fixed for ever.
