My dear Dr. Forbes:-
Your letter of February8th, duly reached me. I am not
surprised to learn that under the remedy you have suffered an
aggravation of your trouble. This was rather to be expected, and
indeed not ungratifying, for it indicates the susceptibility of
your malady to medication. The only thing to do,is simply to
wait for two or three weeks until the excitation has passed, and
then resume the medicine in a still higher dilution . I will
have you another supply mailed at once. In the fiuture,I would
suggest that you take it for two weeks and desist one,in this
manner you will probably escape a repetition of drug aggravation,
With kind regards,I am
Very sincerely yours,
