Dear Sir .
Refering to the question of the incorporating of
the "Florida Baptist Orphans*s Home ",we beg to call your attention to
the requirement of the law of Florida touching this matter , and ask
you to give us the benefeit of your views ,and if you deem it necessary or adviseable to interview some of your local attorneys and then
write us and thereby save the necessity and cost of calling the committ
-ee togather .
Revised Statutes of Florida page 738 section 2259 as amended
toy the Acts of 1893 page 165 seems to be the law governing in our caae
This section provides that the petition shall be presented to
the ■ Judge of the circuit Court for the proper County ,a proposed
Charter subscribed by the intended incorporators which shall set forth
" I st . The name of the corporation and place where it is to be located ■ .
This first requirement is the one which troubles us • The " place"
for the location of the " Home " is not yet determined .In our opinion
some of tho proposed donations rill be measured very largely if not sol
-ey by the ■ location ". How are we to overcome this diffioulty ?
