Replying to your esteemed favor asking rates for taking the University pianos to keep in tune for the scholastic year,I beg to
say I will make you a rats of three dollars($3. ) eaoh piano for
the first round,seven or more instruments to be attended to at
same time: then for subsequent tunings (if tuned during tne
same sohool year) of the same pianos and same number of pianos,
two dollars and a half ($2.5.0) each.
If you will accept a criticism,Iwish to say you have not applied good business principle to the cars of your instruments.
The thing to do is to put them under the charge of .a good tuner who has your confidence; give him a stated number of pianos
for a certain number of tunings (at least twiseja year,and have
the agreement so well .understood that no further .arguments shall
be necessary. Too strict economy applied to the care of pianos costs mors than.it saves. :If I can get your pianos according to the plan suggested above;I shall.be pleased.to serve
