NEW VICE PRESIDENT FOR BUSINESS AND FINANCE
As chair of the Search Committee, I am pleased to announce that Ann Graham, former CFO of Fanny Farmer and
Tupperware, will join us as our new Vice President for Business and Finance. Ann will be on campus Monday, April
11, for a get acquainted visit and will begin assuming her responsibilities on a part-time basis immediately. Please
extend a warm Stetson welcome to Ann and once again let us all express our appreciation to Graves Edmondson

COLLEGIAL SEMINAR today, at noon. The presentation by Dr. Phillip Lucas, Assistant Professor of Religion, will
be "The Holy Order of MANS." This order is a religious movement which began in the 1950s as New Age mystery
school, teaching the Ancient Wisdom, and later transmogrified into Christ the Savior Brotherhood, a dependency
of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Vasiloupolis (Queens, NY). Dr. Lucas' research will be published early next
year in book form by Indiana University Press in its Religion in North America series. The presentation includes
a summary of the book and illustrative slides, followed by discussion. Bring your lunch. Coffee and dessert
provided by Dean Maris of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Faculty Senate will meet on Monday, April 11, 1994. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. in the Private Dining Room
of the Carlton Union Building. The meeting will follow at 6:45 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Dinner and the meeting
are open to all faculty. Anyone wishing to make a reservation for the dinner should call Jane Bradford, ext. 7175
or 7190 before noon on Monday (cost $4.50).
A run-off ballot for the College of Arts and Sciences At-Large Senate seat has been sent to all full-time members
of the College of Arts and Sciences. If you have not received your ballot, please contact Jane Bradford, ext. 7175,
immediately. All Arts and Sciences run-off ballots should be returned to Jane Bradford, Box 8418, by Friday. April
8. 1994.
New Senators already elected are Bob Bickel (Law School), David Everett (Library), Jennifer Foo (School of
Business Administration, one-year term to replace Peter Heine who will be on sabbatical), Randall Hansen (School
of Business Administration), Karen Kaivola (Division of Humanities), Bob Leahy (Department of Education), and
