UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEETING-Monday, April 29, 4:00 p.m. Rinker Hall Auditorium-refreshments will be
served. The purpose of the meeting will be to update you on the April 18-19 Trustee Meeting, with particular
reference to the budgetary picture. Budget information has been distributed to faculty in advance of the meeting,
and the meeting will provide an opportunity for further explanation and questions concerning the 1995-96 budget
and the 1996-97 budget. We hope this information will help you understand why it seems prudent at this time
to defer all salary increase decisions for next year until such time as the fall, 1996 enrollment numbers are more

Live in Elizabeth Hall, April 26, 7:30 p.m.-The Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Bobby Adams, will
perform the program they played at the 55th Music Educators National Conference Convention in Kansas City-
works by Karel Husa, Ingolf Dahl, Charles Ives, and the Roman Carnival Overture of Hector Berlioz. In addition,
the Ensemble will premiere a work by Stetson composer Kari Juusela, Lake Effect for Winds; and Stetson oboe
instructor Ann Adams will perform Bellinis' Concerto for Oboe.
Live in Elizabeth Hall, April 27, 7:30 p.m.-The Stetson Concert Choir, conducted by Duncan Couch, will present
its Pre-European Tour Concert, featuring music from the repertoire the choir will sing on its 18-day tour of England,
France, Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. Among the works are three premieres by composers Peter Matthews,
Fred Gramann, and Kari Juusela. The Gramann work is one of the pieces recorded for publisher Carl Fischer on
a tape distributed to 30,000 choir directors around the country.
Live in Elizabeth Hall, April 28, 3:00 p.m.-The Stetson Campus Chorale, conducted by visiting conductor Norton
Christeson and accompanied by Mark Reed, will perform their Spring Concert this Sunday afternoon. The program
will include four English folk songs arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Widor's Mass, and works by Randall
Thompson, Dr. Christeson, and Alessandro Scarlatti. The Chorale recently performed in Daytona Beach with the
Daytona Beach Community College Concert Choir as part of the "Voices Raised in Song" choral series.
