UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEETING-Monday, April 29. 4:00 p.m. Rinker Hall Auditorium-refreshments will be
served. The purpose of the meeting will be to update you on the April 18-19 Trustee Meeting, with particular
reference to the budgetary picture. Budget information will be distributed to faculty in advance of the meeting,
and the meeting will provide an opportunity for further explanation and questions concerning the 1995-96 budget
and the 1996-97 budget. We hope this information will help you understand why it seems prudent at this time
to defer all salary increase decisions for next year until such time as the fall, 1996 enrollment numbers are more

Live in Elizabeth Hall, April 19, 7:30 p.m.-Friday evening's performance of the Stetson Chamber Orchestra will
include music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Pureed, Elgar, and Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony. Harpsichordist Susan
Klotzbach will join the orchestra for the Baroque works. The orchestra is conducted by Stetson violinist/conductor
Alvaro Gomez.
Live in Elizabeth Hall, April 20, 7:30 p.m.-Saturday night's An Evening of Guitar will include works by Villa-Lobos,
de Falla, Haydn, Gnattali, Assad, D. Scarlatti, Carlevaro, and Sor. These works are for solo guitar, various guitar
ensembles, guitars, and double bass, and guitar and voice. The Stetson Guitar Ensemble is coached by Stephen
Robinson.
Live in First Baptist Church. April 23, 7:30 p.m.-The performance of the Stetson University Choral Union, Duncan
Couch, conductor, and the Stetson Orchestra, Darryl One, conductor, will feature Leonard Bernstein's Chichester
Psalms and Haydn's Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo. Most of the soloists for the Bernstein are senior vocal
majors: Counter-tenor Peter Rodrigues. soprano Lori Fuller, tenor Jason Paulk. and bass Bobb Robinson. Also
singing will be alto Jane Bloodworth of Deltona. Visiting voice instructor and Stetson alum Linda Edwards, of
Valdosta, Georgia, is the soprano soloist for the Haydn Mass. Joining the chorus and orchestra will be Susan
Klotzbach, organ; Rosalind Beck, harp; and Carl Rendeck, percussion. Kayla Liechty is the rehearsal accompanist
for the Choral Union. Choral director Duncan Couch will conduct the chorus and orchestra in Tuesday evening's
