ANNOUNCEMENTS
THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY WILL MEET FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2008, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson Room. Agenda items
include the annual salary report by John Tichenor. A light lunch will be served beginning at 11:45 a.m.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to serve as ushers for Baccalaureate on Friday, May 9, and at the two commencement

HONORS CONVOCATION is scheduled for Friday, April 25, 2008, at noon in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium. Those
presenting awards should be seated in the reserved seating on the east side of the room.

ATTENTION UNIVERISTY COMMITTEE CHAIRS: Please provide the Office of Academic Affairs (Unit 8358), copies
of all meeting minutes for 2007-2008 and an annual committee report, due by May 5, 2008, that provides a very
brief summary of the year's work to include: an evaluation of particular members (who functioned well/poorly);
tasks still in progress; suggestions for next year's chair; a description of the size and makeup of the committee; a
recommendation as to whether the committee is necessary; and suggestions to make the committee more efficient.
