THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY WILL MEET FRIDAY, MARCH 27,2009, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson Room. Agenda items
include a demonstration by University Registrar John Tichenor on improvements made to the on-line course schedule
system and an introduction to DegreeWorks, an on-line student degree audit and advising system. A light lunch will be
served beginning at 11:45 a.m.

SPORT MANAGEMENT GUEST LECTURER TO SPEAK. National Hockey League Consumer Products Marketing Vice
President, Jim Haskins, will discuss his work as a sport marketing strategist dealing with the NHL's Fortune 500 corporate
partners and manufacturers. Mr. Haskins' lecture will provide an inside understanding of the NHL's marketing, licensing,
event management, and brand product development. Mr. Haskins is a 1988 graduate of Stetson University (BA Political
Science) and received his Master of Education in Sport Management from Springfield College in 1991. The lecture will be
held in the Rinker Auditorium in the Lynn Business Center on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45
p.m. This event is open to all and qualifies for cultural credit. For additional information, contact Dr. Matt Wilson at
