APPLICATIONS FOR HAND GRANTS. Faculty are encouraged to apply for 2009 Hand Grants. Applications for
Professional Development Projects and Hand Grants for Course Enhancement are due to Department Chairs on January
20, 2009. The application is attached elsewhere to this edition of The Newsletter and can also be found in the "Faculty
Professional Development Opportunities" handbook which is available online at
http://helmet.stetson.edu/administration/academicaffairs/media/profdev.rtf or in hard copy from the Office of Academic
Affairs. Confirmed funding for 2008-2009 will provide for a total of two grants of $2,000 each.
