ANNOUNCEMENTS
2007 SPRING COMMENCEMENT INFORMATION.
Baccalaureate will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, in Elizabeth Hall Chapel and the selected faculty will
form their line of march at 6:30 in the Elizabeth Hall corridor. University Chaplain Michael Fronk will deliver the
sermon and Tai Oney, 2006 Giffin Scholarship Recipient, will sign the anthem. A reception will follow at the
President's House.
The commencement ceremony for the School of Music and the School of Business Administration (both
graduate and undergraduate students) is scheduled for Saturday, May 5, at 9:00 a.m. in the Edmunds Center.
The faculty line of march will form at 8:30 a.m. in Fraternity Row, east of the Edmunds Center (rain plan lower
west corridor). Stetson Trustee Cici Brown is the commencement speaker and she will receive an honorary
degree. Student speakers will be Rey Rodriguez, BBA candidate, and Andrew Moedinger, BM.
The commencement ceremony for the College of Arts & Sciences (both graduate and undergraduate students) is
scheduled for Saturday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the Edmunds Center. The faculty line of march will form at 1:30
p.m. in Fraternity Row, east of the Edmunds Center (rain plan lower west corridor). The commencement speaker
will be Stetson Trustee David Rinker, who will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree. Student
speakers are Greg Nolan and Sonal Patel.
Full regalia is required for Baccalaureate and both commencements. The Line of March is posted to

edition of The Newsletter. The "Hail and Farewell Celebration" will be staged in the Rinker Field House and under
tents just north of the Hollis Center from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., offering students, parents and faculty from
the schools and college a chance to meet, greet and eat between the two ceremonies.
