ANNOUNCEMENTS
2006 SPRING COMMENCEMENTS.
The commencement ceremony for graduate students is scheduled for Friday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. in Elizabeth
Hall Chapel with a reception to follow at the President's House. The faculty line of march will form at 6:30 p.m. in Dean
Ballenger's office.
Baccalaureate will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, in Elizabeth Hall Chapel and the selected faculty will
form their line of march at 9:30 in the Elizabeth Hall corridor. University Chaplain Michael Fronk will deliver the sermon.
A reception will follow in the Rinker Field House.
Undergraduate commencement is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, at 1:30 in the Edmunds Center and all faculty
should plan to attend. The faculty line of march forms at 1:00 in Fraternity Row, east of the Edmunds Center (rain plan
lower west corridor). The commencement speaker will be the Honorable Bill Nelson, U.S. Senator. Student speakers
are Matt Morton and Maureen O'Shaughnessy. Following the undergraduate commencement, faculty, students and
guests are invited to gather under the tents on Rinker Field.
Tickets are required for admission to the undergraduate commencement for everyone except graduating students,
ushers, and faculty/administration/staff participating in the ceremony. Each graduating student will receive 8 tickets
with which to invite family and friends. Guests without tickets are invited to view the ceremony via remote broadcast in
the Rinker Field House.
Full regalia is required for all events. The Line of March is attached elsewhere to this edition of The Newsletter and is
also posted to http://www.stetson.edu/offices/academicaffairs/lineofmarch.htm.
