ANNOUNCEMENTS
THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY WILL MEET FRIDAY, APRIL 13, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson Room. A light lunch will be
served beginning at 11:45 a.m. Agenda items include a report on faculty salaries and continued discussion on the
course credit system. Minutes to the March 23 faculty meeting are attached elsewhere to this edition of The Newsletter.

ACADEMIC HONORS CONVOCATION will be held at noon on Friday, April 20, 2007, in Elizabeth Hall Chapel. The
deadline for submitting requests for cash and non-cash awards is Thursday, April 12. Request forms are posted online at
http://www.stetson.edu/academicaffairs/facultv info.php . Award presenters are asked to sit on the east side of the
chapel and to come forward in the order in which they appear in the program. Presenters are responsible for inviting the
award recipients to attend. In the interest of time, comments should be limited to the name of the award and the name of
the recipient. So as not to diminish the prestige of any of the awards, there is to be no mention of any cash value that
might be attached to particular award.
