THE FACULTY SENATE WILL MEET ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, in the Faculty Lounge in the Carlton Union
Building. Senators and invited guests meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. and all faculty
members are encouraged to attend.

THE UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEETING SCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, HAS BEEN CANCELLED so that
A&S faculty may use that time to discuss the course unit curriculum. The next scheduled meeting of the University faculty
is Friday, March 28.

NOMINATIONS FOR HAND AWARDS FOR DISTINGUISHED FACULTY are due to the college/school/library
dean/director by Monday, February 25. Nomination information is available from the Office of Academic Affairs and is also
online at http://helmet.stetson.edu/administration/academicaffairs/media/profdev.rtf. Winners in each category are now
eligible for consideration again in that category after five years have passed. The list of previous winners is available online
