THE ONGOING FRIDAY FAITH IN ACTION SERIES will be held March 15, 2002, in the Walker Room of Allen Hall.
This month's topic will be Amnesty International. Mr. Ray Barber, Attomey-At-Law, and members of DeLand High
School's AI Chapter will discuss the fundamental tenets of Amnesty International and the organization's campaigns
around the world. A light lunch will be provided. For more information call the Chaplain's Office at ext. 7358.

THE PATRICK SMITH TALK AND BOOK SIGNING at the Gillespie Museum, scheduled for Saturday, March 16,

FACULTY, PLEASE NOTE: The following students will be performing in South Florida with the Stetson Singers at the
end of this week. We will be leaving campus at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2002, and returning Sunday evening,
March 17, 2002. Please allow them to make-up any work they may miss as a result of this tour.

Stetson Undergrad Research Experience. Application deadline is March 15, 2002. Students interested in summer
research internship positions may apply for the Stetson Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) until Friday,
March 15. Twelve competitive undergraduate internship positions are available for the summer from June 4 to July
25, 2002. Students must be sophomores in the spring 2002 semester and not be graduating until after the fall term
2003. The program provides a $2,000 stipend for research, and students may also apply for up to $500 for research-
related expenses and up to $300 for travel to appropriate professional meetings. Go to the SURE Web site at
