THE FACULTY SENATE WILL MEET MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2005, in the Faculty Lounge in the Carlton Union
Building. Senators and invited guests meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. and all
faculty members are encouraged to attend. Agenda items include reports from the ad hoc Diversity subcommittee;
the SEC regarding annual evaluation process; the Educational Policies Committee regarding faculty evaluation of
chairs, deans, and administration; and a discussion of Senate governance.
Minutes to the Faculty Senate Meetings for December 6, 2004, and January 10, 2005, are attached elsewhere to
this edition of The Newsletter. The 17 pages of appendixes to the December minutes are available in hard copy
