FACULTY: Please advise your students the deadline for Study Abroad Program participation for the fall semester of
the academic year 2002-2003 is TODAY, March 1, 2002. Applications are available at the Center for International

NOMINATIONS FOR HAND AWARDS ARE DUE TODAY, March 1, 2002. Faculty are invited to nominate their
colleagues for the Hand Faculty Awards, which should not be confused with the Hand Grants. Information on these
awards can be found in the "Faculty Professional Development Opportunities" handbook available through the Office of
Academic Affairs or at http://www.stetson.edu/offices/academicaffairs/.

Special Note to All Work-Study Supervisors: Please remind your Work-Study students to apply for financial aid by
filing the 2002-2003 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Students must complete this process and
provide eligibility each and every year in order to receive this employment opportunity. The FAFSA forms are in our
office in Griffith Hall. Students may also apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The recommended deadline for priority
processing is March 15, 2002. If you have any questions, please contact George Stelma, Student Employment
