ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Faculty Senate will meet Monday, March 8, 2004, in the Faculty Lounge in the Carlton Union Building.
Senators and invited guests meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. and all faculty members
are encouraged to attend. This is a change in date from the meeting previously scheduled for March 1.

William Hugh McEniry Award for Excellence in Teaching.The Faculty Senate of Stetson University invites each
student and faculty member to nominate a Stetson faculty member for Stetson University's highest teaching award,
the William Hugh McEniry Award for Excellence in Teaching. All full-time teaching faculty on the DeLand Campus
are eligible, except for the following recent recipients: Greg McCann, Phillip Lucas, Robert Sitler, Terri Witek, and
David Dysart.
NOMINATION OPTIONS:
1. ONLINE
We "prefer* that everyone casts their nomination through Blackboard. During the period March 8-23, all students
and faculty will be able to complete the nomination survey by clicking on the link "William Hugh McEniry Award"
under their course list in Blackboard. To log into Blackboard, follow the link: http://blackboard.stetson.edu
2. PAPER BALLOT
If you prefer, you may choose to cast a paper ballot. The nomination form and information about the award may be
found at http://www.stetson.edu/mathcs/mceniry/ . If you choose this option, please send completed nominations
by Tuesday, March 23rd to The McEniry Nominations Committee, Unit 8332.
SELECTION: Final selection will be made by a secret Senate committee and announced during the Spring
Commencement. Each individual may vote only once.
