The University Faculty Meeting scheduled for Friday, March 28, has been cancelled in response to incomplete
agenda items and the close proximity of the next scheduled meeting. The next meeting will be held on Friday, April
11, at 12:00 noon in the Stetson Room.

William Hugh McEniry Award for Excellence in Teaching. The Faculty Senate invites faculty to submit nominations
for the William Hugh McEniry Award for Excellence in Teaching. All full-time teaching faculty on the DeLand
campus are eligible for nomination, except for recipients of the award within the past five years. The award
winner, which is selected by a secret committee, will be announced at Spring commencement. All nominations
must be received by Friday, April 4, 2003 and can be mailed to the McEniry Nominations Committee at Campus
Box 8423. The nomination form is attached elsewhere to this edition of The Newsletter, and may also be found at:
