The Physics Department in cooperation with the American Astronomical Society and the
Shapely Endowment Fund is hosting Dr. Laurence A. Marschall, author of The Supernova Story,
on April 2 and 3, 1992. Dr. Marschall will present a formal talk entitled, "The Supernova
Story" at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 2, Rinker Auditorium. All are welcome to join us for

CORRECTION. The meeting of the College of Arts & Sciences Faculty will meet on Monday,

FULBRIGHT GRANTS. Applications and detailed information for Fulbright grants (research
and lecturing awards) for faculty and professionals are now available. For more

The School of Music will present two chamber concerts at the Museum of Arts and Sciences,
Chapman S. Root Hall, Daytona Beach. The first concert, Saturday, April 4, 3:00 p.m.,
will feature Professors Alvaro Gomez, Routa Kroumovitch, and Michael Rickman. On Saturday
May 2, 3:00 p.m., Jean Phelan, principal violist in the chamber orchestra, will present
her senior recital. Tickets for students, faculty and staff are $5.

The Philosophy Circle announces that Jerome Cornelisen, graduate student at the University
of Southwest Africa, will discuss "Politics and Philosophy in the Union of South Africa"
Tuesday, March 31, Elizabeth Hall 311, 7:30 p.m. Mr. Cornelisen is in DeLand discussing
his Ph.D. thesis proposal on Kierkegaard's political and social thought with local
