UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEETING-Monday. January 22. 4:00 p.m.. Rinker Auditorium, Davis Hall. Items on the
agenda include a report by President Lee on the Trustee Executive Board meeting and budget plans for the 1996-97
academic year. Materials will be distributed through the mail in advance of the meeting. Also, the Faculty Senate
will recommend a bylaw change on who gets to vote. Please refer to the December 8 edition of The Newsletter

The Faculty Senate has planned a special forum on faculty salaries and raises for Monday, January 29, at 7:00
p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Both President Lee and Provost Lubot will be in attendance to discuss the
administration's plans as well as answer faculty questions. All faculty are encouraged to attend this meeting.
The next regularly scheduled Senate meeting will be February 12, 1996, at 6:45 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge, with

COUNSELING CENTER LUNCHEONS. The first Counseling Center luncheon of the spring semester will be
Wednesday, January 24, at noon in the Private Dining Room. Please call ext. 8900 to make a reservation. A new
permanent luncheon list is being compiled. Please call by the end of the work day on Tuesday, January 23, to

ROTARY SCHOLARSHIPS. 1997-98. Application forms for Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarships for the 1997-98
year have been received, and are available to scholars and to faculty members who have scholars they would like
to have consider a year's academic study overseas. Two Rotary scholars from Stetson received awards for next
year: Barbara Berry and Steve Nicks. These awards are worth up to $21,500 for the year. Contact Dr. G. Robert
