BACCALAUREATE. The Baccalaureate Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 4:00 p.m., in Elizabeth Hall
Auditorium. Selected faculty will form at 3:30 p.m. in the hallway of Elizabeth Hall. The Sermon will be delivered
by Dr. Laura Walters Baskett, University Chaplain.
COMMENCEMENT. Commencement Exercises will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Edmunds Center. The line of march
will form at 6:15 p.m. in front of the Lambda Chi Alpha House on Fraternity Row. Full academic regalia is
requested. The line will move at 6:45 p.m. in order to be seated by 7:00 p.m. In case of rain, the line will form
in the hallway on the first floor, west side of the Edmunds Center.
PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION. The President and Mrs. Lee cordially invite all faculty to attend the President's
Reception for graduates, parents, and friends immediately following Baccalaureate at the President's Home.

students, and faculty, Commencement has tmm moved forward to Saturday,

The Faculty Senate will meet Monday, May 1, at 6:45 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Dinner will be served
immediately preceding the meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. All newly elected senators are encouraged
to attend, as well as any other interested faculty.
The Faculty Senate congratulates Anne Hallum and Mercedes Tichenor, two newly elected senators. Starting next
fall, both will serve as University-At-Large representatives to the Senate. Again, thank you to all faculty members
who agreed to be included in this year's election ballots. Your willingness to serve on the Senate is greatly
