IN RECOGNITION of the 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF EARTH DAY:
(1) A conversation with Jon Maslow, naturalist, journalist, and author of 7 books, following a showing
of his environmental film A Tramp in the Darien Sunday, April 16, 7:30 p.m. in Media Room (entrance
through downstairs courtyard-not the Library)
(2) George Bandy from the University of Texas discusses ideas for environmentally conscious projects on
campuses; Tuesday, April 18, 7:00 p.m. in Media Room.
(3) "Florida's Water: Balancing the Economy and the Environment." Panel discussion with Don Feaster,
Executive Director of Volusia Water Alliance; Kraig McLane, Acting Planning Director, St. John's Water
Management District; and Professor Terry Farrell; 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 19 in the Media Room.
Arts and Sciences cultural credit applies. Also, Green Stetson students will have outdoor events in honor of Earth
