REMINDER: HAND GRANTS DEADLINE. Faculty are reminded that applications for Hand Grants for Professional
Development Projects and Hand Grants for Course Enhancement are due to Department Chairs on January 12.
The application is attached elsewhere to The Newsletter. Applications can also be found in the "Faculty
Professional Development Opportunities" handbook, which is available through the Office of Academic Affairs as
well as the Academic Affairs web page (www.stetson.edu/offices/academicaffairs).

The Faculty Senate will meet Monday, January 22 at 6:45 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. All faculty are welcome to

Stetson Art Faculty Exhibition Opening Reception, Friday, January 19, 6-8 pm in the Duncan Gallery of
Art/Sampson Hall. Faculty members Gary Bolding, Dan Gunderson, Becca Albee, Inga McCaslin, and Betty Press
will exhibit their works until March 2, 2000. They will also give lectures on Fridays, from 12:00 - 12:45 pm on
these dates:
Dan Gunderson - January 26
Inga McCaslin - Febraury 2
Gary Bolding - February 9
Becca Albee - February 23
Betty Press - March 2
Don Reitz will present a 2-day ceramics workshop on February 15 & 16 in the ceramics studio, basement of
Sampson Hall from 9 am - 3 pm both days.
