CONSULTANT ON EVENING AND/OR WEEKEND PROGRAM. Dr. Paul Sable, Consultant, will be on campus
January 6-8, 1997, to discuss opportunities of an Evening Division and/or Weekend Program for adult students
at Stetson as described in last week's edition of The Newsletter. After discussion with Susan Wilson we have
scheduled two dates and times for those faculty interested in meeting with him. The first date is Tuesday, January
7, at 1:30 p.m. and the next time is Wednesday, January 8, at 10:00 a.m. Both these meetings will be held in
the Faculty Lounge. From: Gene Lubot, Provost
FINAL GRADES FOR ALL STUDENTS ARE DUE IN THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE BY 9:00 A.M. TUESDAY, DECEMBER
17. Please don't forget to sign rolls and hand deliver them if at all possible to the Registrar's Office. That way
we can resolve any problems that may exist. Faculty are reminded that the Registrar's Office has converted to
optically scanned grade rolls. Because the forms must pass through a machine to be read they cannot be folded,
stapled or mutilated in any way. Errant marking of the form will cause it to be rejected. We also request that you
pay particular attention to the instructions on the form so that we may minimize errors. Thank you in advance for
your cooperation. Fr°m: Al Wehrle
DOE GREEN RETIREMENT. It is with mixed emotions that I announce to our community the decision of Doe Green
to retire after nearly twenty years of service to Stetson University. Doe has decided to devote more of her time
to her family. Her last day is today Friday, December 13. She has made a specific request not to have her
retirement noted by any formal luncheon or event. We invite you to stop by our office at any time during the
morning of the 13th to wish Doe all the best and to thank her for her years of dedicated service to Stetson.
From: Dave Bergen
Editor's Note: The next edition of The Newsletter will appear on Friday, January 10, 1997. We wish everyone
a joyous holiday season.
