ANNOUNCEMENTS
BACCALAUREATE. The Baccalaureate Service will be held on Sunday, May 9, at 10:00 a.m., in Elizabeth Hall
Chapel. Selected faculty will form at 9:30 a.m. in the hallway of Elizabeth Hall. The Sermon will be delivered by
Dr. Laura Walters Baskett, University Chaplain. Brunch will be served immediately following the service in the
Stetson Room for parents, students, and faculty.
COMMENCEMENT. Commencement Exercises will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Edmunds Center. The line of march
will form at 12:45 p.m. in front of the Lambda Chi Alpha House on Fraternity Row. Full academic regalia is
requested. The line will move at 1:10 p.m. in order to be seated by 1:30 p.m. In case of rain, the line will form
in the hallway on the first floor, west side of the Edmunds Center.
PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION. The President and Mrs. Lee cordially invite all faculty to attend the President's
Reception for graduates and their parents on Saturday, May 8, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the President's Home.

The Faculty Senate is pleased to announce that Boyd Jones has been elected Music School representative to the
Faculty Senate. The election for University At-Large representative is currently underway and should be concluded
by May 1.
The last Faculty Senate meeting of the academic year will be Monday, May 3, in the Faculty Lounge. Dinner will
be served at 6:00 p.m. with the meeting immediately following at 6:45 p.m. All incoming senators are encouraged
to attend. Officer elections for next year will be held during the meeting.
