duPONT-BALL LIBRARY CLOSED FOR SUMMER INTERIMS
The Library will be closed to users during the two summer interim periods, Saturday, May 9 through Sunday, May
31, and Saturday, July 25 through Sunday, August 23. This schedule is required to allow for intensive renovation
work on the main and mezzanine floors. University faculty and staff requiring special assistance may call Monday-
Friday ext. 7175 during regular office hours and we will do our best to accommodate your needs, on a case-by-
case basis. Use of the Library strictly for reading space will not be possible during the interims. The Library's
catalog, databases, and virtual collection links will continue to be available from our homepage
(www.stetson.edu/library). We will try to make individual arrangements to check materials out for faculty and staff
during this period. Returns may be made through the book drop at the entrance. Thanks you for your
understanding and cooperation during this period. From: Sims Kline
A WORD OF THANKS. I cannot find the proper words to adequately express my personal thanks to all of you who
made by "roast" such a memorable event last Friday. I was truly overwhelmed by the number of people who
attended and by the many others who could not attend, but called me and wished me well. A special thanks goes
to Jim Woodward, Maggie Dobson, and my staff for all of their hard work in making it such a success, and to Dr.
Pope Duncan, Chancellor, who first gave me the opportunity to serve this institution, an opportunity for which I
am most grateful. From: AI Wehrle, Registrar
THE NEWSLETTER IS TAKING A BREAK! This is the last edition of The Newsletter for this academic year. We
