The annual Academics Honors Convocation will be on Wednesday, May 5, at 10:00 a.m. in Elizabeth Hall Chapel.
Colleges/school, Department, and University-wide awards will be presented. Please help us encourage student

this May. Jim plans to relocate further west this summer in order to be closer to his children. The reception will

Tuesday, May 4, 4-5pm. Focus: Ways to develop a student's understanding of the history and diversity of
culture, including consideration of the Committee's proposed Western Heritage, U.S. History/Culture, World
History/Culture, Cultural Diversity, Cultural Immersion, Religion, and Foreign Language requirements.
I will attend this discussion, and other Committee members may be available as well. I urge interested faculty
members to come if possible.
