CALL FOR PROPOSALS - ARTISTS & LECTURERS FUNDING FOR 2010-11. The Artists & Lecturers Committee is
accepting proposals to fund events scheduled for 2010-11. Proposals are due by e-mail March 1, 2010. Please note that
this deadline is earlier than in the past. Next year, we hope to move to an early February deadline in order to facilitate
planning and scheduling. There is a formal application form available on our website
(http://www.stetson.edu/administration/artistslecturers/). Please fill out the form in full and e-mail it to Stephen Robinson,
Chair, at srobinso@stetson,edu.

A FREE GRANT WORKSHOP will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the seminar room
of the Hand Art Center. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend. Stetson's Office of Corporate and Foundation
Relations will conduct the workshop.
The Grant Workshop will instruct participants on essential elements of proposals, and compare and contrast writing for
various funding organizations such as government, foundations, and corporations. The presentation will feature aspects of
social networking that can be helpful in raising funds. Services offered by the Office of Corporate and Foundation
Relations and the Stetson grant process will also be discussed.
