ANNOUNCEMENTS
Bruce Griffiths, Professor and Director of Stover Theatre, is retiring at the end of the
school year after thirty-five years here at Stetson. On Saturday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m.,
Theta Alpha Phi, the national drama fraternity, is hosting a reception in Bruce's honor
at Stover Theatre. Friends and colleagues are invited to attend the reception.

The School of Music is honoring Mr. Richard Feasel at Homecoming this weekend. Dick
retired this year after forty-five years on the Stetson faculty. Everyone is invited to
the Showcase Concert, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium, which
will feature five of Professor Feasel's compositions including the "Pride of Stetson
March" which includes the Stetson Fight Song. This concert will involve the University
Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, and Jazz Ensemble. Immediately following the
concert, there will be a reception in Presser Hall. Everyone is invited.
Stetson alumnus (1959), Stafford Wing, tenor, will be presented by the Artists and
Lecturers Committee and the School of Music in Recital on Sunday, March 3, at 3:00 p.m.
in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium. He has had a highly successful performing career and
presently teaches at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Everyone is

The Faculty Women's Caucus will meet on Tuesday, March 5, noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Faculty
Lounge. Please contact me before the meeting if there are specific items you would like

All faculty are invited to a Campus Life Forum on Tuesday, March 5, at 3:30 p.m. in the
Private Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building. Provost Brakeman, Jim Beasley, and
Dan Hale will provide updates on several programs and issues. The discussion will focus
on Campus Life restructuring, Deferred Rush, and Residential Life. Also, there will be
time for questions and discussion of other topics that you may suggest. We hope you can
join us for this meeting. We will have refreshments!
