UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEETING-Monday, March 20, 10:00 a.m., Rinker Auditorium, Davis Hall. President Lee
will brief faculty on the budget and Master Campus Plan developments. The President will also alert faculty
regarding a special session on Tuesday, March 28, at 4:00 p.m. at which Mark Hollis will be present to explain his
plan for the Hollis Renaissance Program on grants to the University. From Gene Lubot, Provost
FACULTY. You are invited to a reception on Monday, March 20, to honor Ingrid Wulf, Resident Director from the
Paedagogische Hochschule, Freiburg, for twenty years of service to Stetson University. The reception will be from
4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at our home on the porch. Margaret and I hope you will plan to attend.

REMINDER: March is Women's History Month. Celebrate by attending the following events:
Wednesday, March 22, 10:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Warren J. Blumenfeld lecturing on "Homophobia: How We
All Pay the Price." Both lectures will be in Elizabeth Hall Auditorium. Blumenfeld is coauthor of Looking at Gav
and Lesbian Issues and coproducer of the documentary film "Pink Triangles." His film will be shown in Nite
Lites at 8:30 Tuesday evening and again at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome
at any of these events. Sponsored by Students Transcending Homophobia, Artists and Lecturers Committee,
Council of Student Activities, Office of Multicultural Affairs, and Women and Gender Studies.
Tuesday, March 28, 8:00 p.m., Professor N'Dri Assie-Lumumba will lecture on "Women, Education and the
Liberation Struggle in Africa: Challenges and Prospects for the Twenty-First Century." Assie-Lumumba is
Professor of Africana Studies and Women's Studies at Cornell University. This lecture will take place in the
Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building and is sponsored by the Artists and Lecturers Committee and the
International Symposium on Sub-Saharan Africa. In Stetson Room.
Late March or early April, STASA (Students Together Against Sexual Assault) is organizing the annual "TAKE BACK

free and open to the public. A reception and book-signing will follow, and Poetry at an Uncouth Hour will wind
