ANNOUNCEMENTS
BACCALAUREATE. The baccalaureate service will be held on Sunday, May 16, at 8:30 a.m. in the First Baptist
Church. The faculty line of march will form at 8:00 a.m. on the north side of the Church (Oakdale Avenue side)
under the covered walkway. The students line will form on the south side (Edmunds Center side) under the
covered walkway. Faculty are asked not to park in the First Baptist Church parking lot but rather in the wooded
area west of Edmunds Center. Brunch will be served at 10:00 a.m. in the Stetson Room for parents, students,
and faculty.
COMMENCEMENT. The Commencement Exercise will begin at 1:30 p.m. The line of march for Commencement
will form at 1:00 p.m. in front of the Lambda Chi Alpha House on fraternity row. Full academic regalia is
requested. This line of march will move not later than 1:15 p.m. in order to be seated by 1:30 p.m. In case of
rain, the line will form in the hallway on the second floor south side of Edmunds Center.

FACULTY WOMEN'S CAUCUS will hold an end-of-the-year short business meeting and potluck supper at Ann

The Florida Baptist Historical Society will meet on Friday evening, May 7, and Saturday morning, May 8. The
Friday evening meeting begins with a banquet at 6:30 p.m. in the Private Dining Room, Carlton Union Building.
Cost is $6.50. The Saturday morning meeting will be in rooms 204/205 in the Carlton Union Building, 8:45 -
11:45 a.m. Speakers include Earl Joiner, who will talk about a pioneer missionary to the Indian, A.J. Holt; Genus
Crenshaw, who will talk about Indian Missions in Florida; and Jack Hillhouse will discuss Obadiah Brown, a
