The TENTH ANNUAL FLORIDA WINTER PASTORS' SCHOOL will be held on our campus next week. Starting on
Tuesday, January 31 and ending on Friday, February 3 at noon-we will have some great speakers and a "sold out"
attendance. Dr. Fred Craddock and Dr. Carol Newsom from Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Dr. Thorwald
Lorenzen from Baptist Theological Seminary in Switzerland, and Dr. Richard Spencer from Appalachian State
University in North Carolina will deliver some inspiring messages in the four days. Dr. Lorenzen, the Theology
Lecturer, will speak at 10:00 a.m. in Elizabeth Hall Chapel on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please call

The Woodrow Wilson Fellow for the upcoming year is Deborah Amos and her husband, Rick Davis. Both are senior
correspondents with ABC and NBC respectively. Topics of discussion vary from Foreign News coverage {based
on over 35 combined years of experience in foreign countries) to Tabloid Journalism. Deborah Amos has been a
foreign correspondent in both London and Amman, Jordan. Rick Davis has been a foreign correspondent
throughout Europe, the Middle East, North Africa Afghanistan, and India.
Their visit is scheduled for the week of February 27-March 3, 1995. Any professor that would like to schedule
one or both to speak to their classes, contact Dr. Bill Jens, ext. 7363.

STRATEGIC LONG RANGE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PLAN for academic and administrative computing at
Stetson, compiled by consultant Carl Beling, is on Reserve at the duPont-Ball Library. This important planning
document will be reviewed by both the Academic and Administrative Computing Committees and others as the
basis for new approaches to improve information technology for students, faculty, and staff.
