ANNOUNCEMENTS
BACCALAUREATE. The baccalaureate service will be held on Sunday, May 16, at 8:30 a.m. in the First Baptist
Church. The faculty line of march will form at 8:00 a.m. on the north side of the Church (Oakdale Avenue side)
under the covered walkway. The students line will form on the south side (Edmunds Center side) under the
covered walkway. Faculty are asked not to park in the First Baptist Church parking lot but rather in the wooded
area west of Edmunds Center. Brunch will be served at 10:00 a.m. in the Stetson Room for parents, students,
and faculty.
COMMENCEMENT. The Commencement Exercise will begin at 1:30 p.m. The line of march for Commencement
will form at 1:00 p.m. in front of the Lambda Chi Alpha House on fraternity row. Full academic regalia is
requested. This line of march will move not later than 1:15 p.m. in order to be seated by 1:30 p.m. In case of
rain, the line will form in the hallway on the second floor south side of Edmunds Center.

ARTS AND SCIENCES FACULTY: Please note that the first faculty meeting for 1993-94 will be on Friday, August
27, in the Davis Hall Auditorium from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. From: Gary Maris
REMINDER-Stetson University will be hosting and participating in the 1993 TAAC Baseball Tournament at Conrad
Park. The games are scheduled for Friday, May 14, at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. (Stetson will play at 7:00 p.m.),
Saturday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. Stetson faculty,
staff, and students will be admitted free by showing their Stetson ID. The winner of this tournament will receive
an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Please come and support the Hatters. From: Jeff Altier
