CABLEVISION'S EXCELLENCE IN SPORTS PROGRAM. On Saturday, April 24, Stetson will be hosting its final FREE
Cablevision Excellence in Sports Program. This clinic will be featuring instruction from Stetson's Golf coaches and
players. It will be held on the Hollis Intramural field at 9:00 a.m. to noon. A T-shirt, sports poster, and instruction
are all included FREE for all area school age children. All the families of the faculty and staff are encouraged to

This week grade rolls for graduation candidates were distributed to faculty members. Predicted final grades are
to be entered for each graduating senior and masters candidates, and the rolls signed and returned to the
Registrar's Office by 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 30. It is important that these grades be as accurate as possible
because they will be used to determine if all degree requirements have been completed. If after the evaluation of
final exams, a final grade differs from the predicted grade, this office must be notified immediately at ext. 7142.
Adjustments in FINAL GRADES FOR GRADUATES CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER 12:00 P.M.. MAY 19.
Faculty advisers are reminded that early registration for the summer session and fall semester will continue until
the end of the semester. If you have advisees who have not completed their registration, they should fill out a new
course request card, have it signed by you, and then they should turn it in at the Registrar's Office. Completing
registration now will avoid having to do it over again in June and September. From: Al Wehrle
HOLIDAYS 1993. The Independence Day Holiday will be Friday. July 2, not July 5 as reported in the April 9
edition of The Newsletter. July 5 is the first day of the second four-week session of the summer term.

REMINDER-The Hollis Council invites faculty members interested in listing courses with the new leadership minor
to attend an information session to be held in the Private Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building on Wednesday,
April 28, from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. with dinner to follow. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the goals of the
Hollis Leadership Development Program and how to achieve them in curriculum for the LDP minor. Syllabi from
several Stetson LDP courses will be available, and a short video about "Into the Streets" will be shown as a sample
student project. In addition, information about other leadership programs and articles about leadership development
