ANNOUNCEMENTS
Summer Grants for 1987 have been awarded to the following: Jennifer
Bogart, Bruce Bradford, Edwin Coolidge, Frank DeZoort, Richard Ferland,
Elizabeth Heins, Francis Knapp, Nick Maddox, Timothy Maloney, Donald
Musser, Robert Perkins, Mary Pollock, Michael Raymond, Mollie Rich,
Stephen Robinson, Daniel Rosetti, and Paul Steeves.

Contingent upon successful completion of negotiations to establish a
new program of Fulbright exchanges with the German Democratic Republic,
awards will be offered in 1987-88 and 1988-89 for research and
university lecturing in Germany. For 1987-88 awards, the application
deadline is March 2, 1987; for 1988-89 awards, the application deadline is September 15, 1987. Additional information is available in the

All members of the faculty and staff are invited to participate in
HOMECOMING 1987. There are three special events that you will want to
know about: A tribute to Dr. Duncan and Bon Voyage Party for Dr. and
Mrs. Duncan on Saturday, February 28; and a Birthday Party for Prof.
Giffin on Friday, February 27. Reservations for these and other events

Dr. David Stock, Associate Professor of Biology, presented a talk on
the breeding birds of New Smyrna Beach to the New Smyrna Beach Garden
Club at the Sugar Mill Country Club on February 4.
