ATTENTION FACULTY—IMPORTANT CORRECTION. The resolution adopted by the University Faculty
at its meeting on January 27, should read:
"That the plus/minus grading policy be in effect for those students entering the
University at the beginning of the 1991-92 academic year and thereafter. Students
entering prior to the commencement of the 1991-92 academic year, and who have been in
continuous enrollment, will be permitted to select either grading system on a one-time-
only option at a specified date established by the administration that will also have the
responsibility for communicating this information to the students. The option will be
available effective the Spring Semester of the 1991-92 academic year."
and not as stated in the February 4. 1992, memo to Full-Time Teaching Faculty.

The Faculty Senate will meet Monday, February 10, 1992. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. in
the Private Dining Room of the Carlton Union Building. The meeting will follow at 6:45
p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Dinner and the meeting are open to all faculty. Anyone
wishing to make a reservation for the dinner should call Jane Bradford, ext. 7175 or 7190
before noon on Monday (cost $4.50).
The agenda for the February 10 meeting includes Dawn Rodak, Career Services, a report on
the Senate Executive Committee's visit to the College of Law, a report on the
Multicultural Institute, and Senate committee reports.

FACULTY FORUM—CHANGE OF DATE AND PLACE. There will be a meeting of the University
Faculty on Friday. February 14. at 10:00 a.m. in Rinker Auditorium. Davis Hall. The
purpose of the meeting will be to consider a report on academic computing at Stetson by
the University Academic Computing Committee. A document from the Committee will be
distributed to the Faculty prior to this meeting. From: Provost Lou Brakeman
This is to announce that Kemper D. Smith, Associate Dean and Director of Residential Life,
has submitted his resignation effective May 31, 1992. I know that many of you will want
to express your appreciation and best wishes to Kemper.
