Alexander Raskatov, composer-in-residence, will give a lecture on the music of Alfred
Schnittke on Wednesday evening, March 28, at 7:00 p.m. in room 352 of Presser Hall.
Schnittke is an outstanding Soviet composer and is considered by many in the West to
be the leading composer in the world today. Raskatov is a good friend of Schnittke
and is in a unique position to introduce his music to our community.

There will be a Workshop sponsored by the Professional Development Committee and
Writing-Across-the-Curriculum Committee on Thursday, March 29, starting at 4:00 p.m.
in Elizabeth Hall, Room 206, followed by dinner in the Private Dining Room of the
Carlton Union Building. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. following the
presentation. This is the first of a series of three More Effective Teaching
workshops which will combine discussion and "hands-on" activities for the enhancement
of teaching and learning. Make a reservation no later than noon Wednesday, March 28,

SEXUAL HARASSMENT—PANEL DISCUSSION. What is Sexual Harassment? What if it happens
to you? Find out the answers to these and other questions pertaining to Stetson's new
sexual harassment policy at an informative panel discussion on Thursday, March 29,
7:30 p.m. in the Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building. Participants include:
Dr. Earl Joiner, Chair of Stetson's Sexual Harassment Grievance Committee and
Professor of Religion; Dr. Terri Witek, Assistant Professor of English; Heather
Jaynes, Stetson student. ALL members of the Stetson community are invited to attend.
This discussion is co-sponsored by the Stetson University Faculty Women's Caucus and
