The Faculty Senate will meet Monday. March 8. 1993. Dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. in the Private Dining Room
of the Carlton Union Building. The meeting will follow at 6:45 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge. Dinner and the
meeting are open to all faculty. Anyone wishing to make a reservation for the dinner should call Jane Bradford,
ext. 7175 of 7190 before noon on Monday (cost $4.50). The agenda for the March 8 meeting includes a report
from the ad hoc committee for Senate restructuring and reports from the Educational Policies Committee
concerning the University's Oral Communications Policy and Leadership Minor. Dr. Robert Leahy will be the
Senate's guest to speak toward the Leadership Minor. A draft of possible Oral Communications Policy
statements was published in the February 12 Newsletter. Faculty are encouraged to voice opinions/concerns
regarding oral communications or the leadership minor to their Senators or members of the Educational Policies

REMINDER. The Latin American Studies Committee at Stetson University is sponsoring a series of round-table
discussions on several issues of importance for future U.S. and Latin American relations. Interested students and
faculty are invited to attend. The sessions will be held in the Language House, located directly to the east of
Conrad Hall. They will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour. Topics are:

ATTENTION FACULTY: We have noticed that some students who are eligible to have F grades forgiven have
not processed the F grade forgiveness form with this office. Would you please announce to your classes that
if a student is repeating a course this term and wants the failed grade forgiven, he/she should pick up a form
from the Registrar's Office, have it approved by the dean of the college or school in which the course is taught,
