The following note is clarification of the section on insurance in the
Faculty Senate Minutes:
1. The Personnel Office is preparing information booklets on the benefits under the present health insurance carrier and will distribute
them shortly.
2. If there are questions on health benefits, please discuss them with
Kim Dorazio or Wayne Hanks. If there are concerns with insurance as
a part of the University fringe benefit package, please feel free to
discuss those with a member of the Insurance and Annuities Committee
(Berry, Boyd, Epley).
3. The cancer insurance is not part of the University benefits package.
It is paid with a payroll deduction which the employee signs, and it
it is his or her responsiblity to make changes in this deduction.

NOTICE TO ALL FACULTY: The Military Science Department is taking applications for 2- and 3-year scholarships for Sophomores and Freshmen respectively. The scholarship pays for every aspect of the student's education except room and board; plus, it provides $1,000 per year in subsistence. Please announce this to all of your classes. Students may
apply for the scholarships with GPA's as low as 2.0. Application may be
made by appointment. Call MaJ George Alexander at ext. 322.
