ANNOUNCEMENTS
Appropriations in the 1984-85 budget for capital and equipment items are
now released and requisitions may be processed. Budget supervisors are
encouraged to proceed with these purchases promptly. Please keep in
mind that all 1984-85 budget requisitions are to be in process by
April 5. Any further necessary budget transfers or revisions for this
year should be presented now for consideration by appropriate deans and
other budget supervisors, so that approval might be in place before that

The Faculty Senate will meet at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd. If
you wish to attend the dinner at 6:00 p.m., please call ext. 210 by

The Faculty Senate is seeking nominations from the faculty for the
William Hugh McEniry Award for Excellence in Teaching. All full-time
teaching faculty are eligible for the award except for the five most
recent recipients: Professors Maris, Morland, DeLap, Hague, and Colwell
The award carries a $1,000 prize and a wall plaque. Nomination forms,
which will be placed in faculty mail boxes early next week, should be
returned to the nominating committee at Box 8398 by Friday, April 12.
Please help the selection committee by identifying colleagues who typify
the Stetson hallmark of teaching excellence.

The Spring Blood Drive will take place on Monday, April 1, from noon
to 6:00 p.m., and Tuesday, April 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in
the Stetson Room of the CUB. Student Co-chairpersons are Dana Zeigler
