CLASSES RESUME
Soviet pianist Olga Magidenko, artist-in-residence at Stetson this semester, will
present a recital on Sunday afternoon, March 11, at 3:00 p.m. in Elizabeth Hall. She
will play music by Peter Tchaikovsky, Modest Mussorgsky, and Alexander Raskatov.
Alexander Raskatov, composer-in-residence, will present a lecture on Russian church
music on Wednesday evening, March 14, at 7:00 p.m. in room 352 in Presser Hall.

The March meeting of the 1989-90 Faculty Senate will be held on Monday, March 12, at
6:45 p.m. in the Private Dining Room. The Senate will continue its discussion of the
weekly class schedule and will consider a recommendation of the Executive Committee on
tenure criteria. The Educational Policies Committee will introduce motions concerning
(1) the transfer of C- grades; (2) the standards for academic probation and
eligibility for extra-curricular activities; and (3) prohibition against on-campus
advertising. The Senate will also review a proposed academic calendar for 1991-92.
Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. for $4.50. All those who would like a dinner
reservation should call Mitchell Reddish at ext. 8932 by noon Monday.
