UNIVERSITY FACULTY MEETING-Monday, March 29, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Rinker Auditorium, Davis Hall. The
agenda will be: (DA proposal from the Hollis Leadership Council and the Faculty Senate to establish a leadership
minor; and (2) A discussion on the issue of the "climate" for women students in our classes.

BLOOD DRIVE. The spring semester Blood Drive will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, March 30 and 31, from
10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Stetson Room of the Carlton Union Building. Your participation is important.

There will be a lecture on "Skinheads and Neo-Nazis in America," by Karen Riley, in Allen Hall, Tuesday, March
30, at 7:30 p.m. Karen is Educational Director of the Holocaust Memorial and Resource Center in Maitland and
is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Central Florida. Her topic is the subject of her Thesis. Students,

On Friday, April 2, Trio Tiento! will preview its New York debut recital in Elizabeth Hall at 8:00 p.m. Tiento! is
the union of three extraordinary, international instrumental virtuosi: American Guitarist Stephen Robinson, Latvian
violinist Routa Kroumovitch, and Chilean violinist/violist Alvaro Gomez. Performing an eclectic and uniquely broad
repertoire, Tiento's! DeLand program will include the newly-commissioned work Ports of Call, A "Mediterranean"
Suite for two violins and guitar by the American composer Samuel Adler. Also included will be trios by Matiegka
and Sarasate, violin and guitar duos by Pagannini and Piazzola, a work for two violins by Kenins, and a guitar
solo by Albeniz. Trio Tiento!'s New York debut is sponsored by The D'Addario Foundation for the Performing
Arts Series at Merkin Concert Hall, Saturday, April 17. From: School of Music

FINAL REMINDER-FACULTY SUMMER WORKSHOP. Faculty are invited to apply to participate in a two-week
writing-across-the-curriculum/facuity development workshop. To be held from May 24 to June 4, the 10-day
workshop will focus on developing practical teaching strategies and assignments that enhance teaching, learning,
and writing in all disciplines. Faculty teaching during the summer session or with summer research grants are
encouraged to apply. A $1,000 stipend will be awarded to the 14 participants. Interested faculty should apply
by April 2 to Mike Raymond (Campus Box 8306, extension 7730) by submitting their name, department, and
